responsibility. A Service Hydrologist/Hydro Focal Point is the National Weather
Service hydrologic coordinator and spokesperson for a given hydrologic service
area and is the person to contact for current flood potential, streamflows,
snowpack information and updates to peak flow forecasts. Following their phone
