Green River Basin
Observed runoff varied from below to much above normal over
the Green River Basin for the April through July 1999 season.
Seasonal precipitation in the Basin averaged near normal
through March of water year 1999. However above to much above
normal precipitation in April and May of 1999 brought the
seasonal precipitation to above normal by the end of May.
Precipitation in June and July averaged near to above normal
over the Basin.
The seasonal snowpack averaged below normal on February 1, 1999.
After some fluctuation between near and below normal snow water
equivalents during March and April, the snowpack rebounded to
above normal during May over much of the area. Isolated areas
remaining below normal.
