Virgin River Outlook


Nearly twice the average monthly precipitation fell during February over the Virgin River Basin. This increased the water year precipitation from 30% of average on February 1 to 70% of average on March 1. The March 1 snow water equivalent was 90% of average compared to just 35% of average at the beginning of February.
