Upper Colorado Mainstem Outlook


April 1 spring runoff forecasts for points in the Upper Colorado headwaters call for flows ranging from 60 percent to 80 percent of average. With precipitation uniformly much below normal and temperatures above normal during March, the snowpack dropped approximately 15 percent of average. Volume forecasts have decreased from those issued last month.
