Water Supply Outlook Summary


Volume forecasts as of January 1 call for below to much below average flows for the April-July 2000 runoff period in the Upper Colorado Basin. Seasonal precipitation through January 1 was below to much below average throughout the basin. The San Juan Basin has had only 10% of average precipitation for the season. The snowpack on January 1 averaged approximately 50% in the Upper Colorado Basin.
