Gunnison and Dolores Rivers Outlook


Precipitation was above average in February for the second month in a row. Since January 1, basin-wide snowpack has increased by 15% of average but remains below average. Therefore, the spring runoff forecasts call for predominately below average flows, ranging from 62% to 82% of average.

April-July streamflow forecasts for the Gunnison and Dolores Rivers are as follows:
