Water Supply Outlook Summary

During March, the overall precipitation was below to much below average in much of the Upper Colorado. Exceptions include some areas in the Colorado headwaters. See the monthly precipitation map. This drier than average month forced a lowering of the forecasts from last month. Currently, rivers are forecasted to be much below average in the Green, below average in the Upper Colorado mainstem, Gunnison, and Dolores, and average in the San Juan.
