Upper Colorado Mainstem Outlook


January precipitation was 45% of average in the upper mainstem of the Colorado basin. The percent of average snow dropped from near 100% of average on January 1 to 80% of average by February 1. Forecasts for the spring runoff followed suit and now call for approximately 85% of average flows.
