Water Supply Outlook Summary


Water year precipitation leading up to the first of the year has been below to near average in the Upper Colorado Basin. Currently, snow measurements indicate approximately 85% of average snow water equivalent in the Gunnison/Dolores and Green basins, 90% of average in the San Juan, and 100% of average in the Upper Colorado mainstem. As of January 1, the runoff forecasts call for near to below average flows.
