Gunnison and Dolores Rivers Outlook


Even though April precipitation was 115% of average, snow water equivalent dropped from 85% to 70% of average from April 1 to May 1 in the Gunnison and Dolores River Basins. However, observed streamflow in the basins was just 60% of average during April. As a result, streamflow forecasts were lowered 5% to 10% from those issued last month.
