Sevier Lake Basin

Observed flow volumes within most of the Sevier Lake Basin were below average for the April-July period. The snowpack was below average throughout the winter and spring months in most areas. Forecasts indicated below average runoff over much of the area through the same time period. Forecasts were lowered in April as the snow condition worsened and rebounded slightly in early June. Wet cool conditions in late May and June contributed to volumes that were slightly higher than forecast and more inline with earlier season forecasts.

The majority of observed runoff values fell within the 10 percent and 90 percent exceedence range of the forecasts issued throughout the season.
