Water Supply Outlook Summary


As of April 1, much below average April-July runoff volumes are expected in the Great Salt Lake Basin. Much below to below average runoff volumes are expected in the Sevier Lake Basin. Forecasts are expected to range from 20 to 65 percent of the 1961-90 average in the Great Salt Lake and 50 to 85 percent of average in the Sevier Lake Basin. April 1 snowpack decreased approximately 15% from March 1 in the Great Salt Lake Basin and decreased approximately 25% in the Sevier Lake Basin, resulting in lowered forecasts throughout the Eastern Great Basin.
