Virgin River Outlook


April runoff was above average in the Virgin River Basin and much above average snowpacks still exist in the higher elevations. The May 1 water supply outlook for the spring of 1998 is for above average runoff volumes. Forecasts range from 115 to 130 percent of the 1961-1990 average.
