Salt River Outlook


Phoenix experienced its third wettest March on record with nearly three inches of precipitation. The Salt and Verde watersheds had 175% of median precipitation for the month after setting the record for the driest October through January period on record. Water year precipitation is now at 50% of median and forecast streamflows remain much below median.

April-May streamflow forecasts for the Salt River are as follows:

Verde River: Much Below Median

Tonto Creek: Much Below Median
