Green River Outlook


Forecasts for the spring 1997 runoff continue to call for above to much above average flows over the entire basin. Due to below average precipitation in February many forecasts dropped 5 to 15 percent.

April-July streamflow forecasts for the Green River are as follows:

Upper Green River (abv Flaming Gorge):
Much Above Average

Yampa/White Rivers:
Much Above Average

Lower Green River (blo Flaming Gorge):
Much Above Average
