Upper Colorado Mainstem Outlook


Above normal temperatures during March melted snow causing above average streamflow. Above normal precipitation compensated for much of this effect, however, keeping most forecasts nearly the same as those issued last month. Forecasts dropped in the upper reaches of the Colorado which only received average precipitation last month.

April-July streamflow forecasts for the Upper Colorado Mainstem are as follows:
