Gunnison and Dolores Rivers Outlook

A 20% decrease in snowpack within these basins since March 1 led to an overall 15% decrease in April through July volume forecasts over those issued last month.

April-July streamflow forecasts for the Gunnison and Dolores Rivers are as follows:

Gunnison River:: Much Below Average
Dolores River:: Much Below Average
