Gunnison and Dolores Rivers Outlook


Precipitation was above average in March for the third month in a row. Since January 1, basinwide snowpack has increased by 35%, which includes a 20% increase in March, and is now near average. Therefore, the spring runoff forecasts are predominately near average, ranging from 72% to 107% of average.

April-July streamflow forecasts for the Gunnison and Dolores Rivers are as follows:
