Water Supply Outlook Summary


During the month of March, the snowpack as a percent of average remained nearly constant in the Green Basin, increased slightly in the Upper Colorado, and increased considerably in parts of the Gunnison, Dolores, and San Juan Basins. March precipitation was recorded above 200% of average at numerous sites in southwest Colorado. The most significant changes in runoff forecasts from last month occurred for areas in the Dolores and Gunnison Basins.
