Gunnison and Dolores Rivers Outlook


Although precipitation was much above average in January, the snowpack has remained much below average. Therefore, the spring runoff forecasts are predominately much below average, ranging from 42% to 76%. These forecasts reflect the long-term outlook for mostly dry conditions through the end of the runoff season.

April-July streamflow forecasts for the Gunnison and Dolores Rivers are as follows:
