Green River Outlook


January precipitation was above to much above average which raised the February 1 snowpack approximately 25% but it remains below to much below average. Therefore, most forecasts increased 5-15% of average but still call for below to much below average flows.

April-July streamflow forecasts for the Green River are as follows:

Yampa/White Rivers:
Below Average

Lower Green River (blo Flaming Gorge):
Much Below Average
