Upper Colorado Mainstem Outlook


May 1 forecasts have either stayed the same or dropped slightly from those issued April 1. April precipitation varied dramatically even within a drainage. Parts of the Blue River and Lake Granby drainages received upwards of 150-160% of average precipitation. Some locations in the Roaring Fork and lower Colorado mainstem drainages received as low as 20-70% of average.
