Upper Colorado Mainstem Outlook


The precipitation situation in the Upper Colorado was mixed during April. The Fraser, Blue, and Williams Fork Basins received enough precipitation so that forecasts remained the same or were raised slightly. The current prediction for the April through July flows for these basins is for near average. Forecasts on the Eagle and Roaring Fork Rivers were dropped. The Roaring Fork at Glenwood Springs forecast is now calling for 66% of average flow. Points on the lower Colorado mainstem call for approximately 75% of average flows.
